Thomas Tol starts his musical carreer in Empty, fully named Empty Hearts, where
Jan Keizer plays drums. After he is tipped that he can come to BZN, he starts to study the piano. On September 20, 1969 he takes the place of guitar player
Evert Woestenburg. The song Mother Can You See Me is Thomas' recording debug with the band. Lateron, Thomas will concentrate more on the keyboards, especially after the success of Mon Amour.
After his brother
Cees left the band, not much later also Thomas steps out of the band. After that he forms the duo Tol&Tol together with his brother. Their first single, Eleni, scores big in the charts. Every now and then a new record of the duo is released, but mostly they are active behind the scenes producing for other artists.
Thomas is also part of the BZN'66 Reunion Band.
