Cees Tol is the founder of BZN, together with Jan Tuijp. In the early years, Cees mostly plays lead guitar, but during the years more instruments are added, especially after the success of Mon Amour.
Because Cees is tired of travelling with the band, in 1988 he says goodbye to BZN. After that he forms the duo Tol&Tol together with his brother Thomas. Their first single, Eleni, scores big in the charts. Every now and then a new record of the duo is released, but mostly they are active behind the scenes producing for other artists.
Cees is also part of the BZN'66 Reunion Band.
