After a disappointing audition, with which the members of BZN were looking for a replacement for
Marie Kwakman,
Jack Veerman drops the name of Annie Schilder. When she sings a few songs for the boys, the band fully agrees that she has to become the new female singer of BZN. With the single Mon Amour, on which Annie can be heard for the first time as a singer, a golden period starts for BZN.
In 1984 Annie announces that she wants to leave the band to take care of her 2-year-old daughter.
Carola Smit takes her position. After a few years Annie starts a rather successfull solo career.
Presently, Annie regularly performs with the BZN'66 Reunion Band.
