In 1969, Jack is 15 years old then, he plays in the band Alles, together with his brother Cor. After two years he moves to the band Progress, where he also plays for two years. Both bands only played Top40 hits and no own songs. In that period, next to performing and rehearsing, Jack works in his father's company as a mason.
In 1974, when Jack is no longer playing in a band and is asked by his brother to work for him,
Jan Keizer asks him to audition as a drums player for BZN.
Next to his work as drums player, since 1988 Jack also writes songs for BZN. Together with
Jan Keizer and
Jan Tuijp he owns a production company: JJJ Productions. This company produces albums and writes songs for Tamara among others and in the past for Jantje Smit, their big discovery.
